Notes For Overseas Customers

Advantages in Exchange Rates

For an up to date exchange rate go to The Interactive Currency Table. This will give today's rate between any other currency and the Australian dollar.

Shipping Firearms

Please note that we can not ship live ammunition overseas. Cases and components are no problem. Firearms pose some problems, but nothing we can't overcome.

All firearms must have an export permit granted from the Australian Department of Defence. This can take up to 4 weeks to organise. In most cases we can send airguns to countries where they are legal without further documentation.
Cartridge firing firearms require sending to a licensed dealer, for example an FFL holder in the US. A BATF Form 6 is needed prior to shipping. This is also cost free. Nothing in this process is difficult. If your FFL dealer says it's too hard he has never done one. Either put him in touch with us or find another FFL holder. We send shipments to the US all the time. We know the format of the Form 6 and can supply all relevant details to fill it in. It takes anything from two to seven weeks for BATF approval; as soon as we have a faxed copy we send the firearm by air mail with Australian export and US import documents enclosed. Customs then check the details on arrival and forward the parcel to your FFL holder's address.

Payment

Funds can be transferred by money order, in Australian dollars, or by Visa or Mastercard. Credit card details can only be sent to us by normal email, fax, or if you know the time difference please give us a call - phone and fax numbers are on our home page. Bank Cheques in other currencies are very expensive and slow to clear in this country.

On all second hand equipment we require either payment in full or 50% deposit at time of order and balance within 8 weeks to hold the item for you.
